Apologies for my scrawl. Djibouti wasn't the best place for speedy internet. Trust me, once upon a time I could write reasonable modified cursive. This shot snapped under two reading lights on Flight ET 706 last Sunday.
Two things caught my attention whilst waiting for my flight out of Djibouti. Firstly, signs to observe that the local drug of choice may not go down too well in other countries.
And secondly, the huge French and US military presence. While I was waiting, two French jets flew in a mob of legionnaires. I also drove past legionnaires on exercise in the Arta region.
