"Stirling Mortlock, Stirling Mortlock, Stirling Mortlock..."
The rugby gods we're not taking my call on Saturday in Marseille's Stade Velodrome for the Australia v England quarter final.

The weekend began well. Our digs, courtesy of a French connection of Petites et Grandes Aventures, were in nearby Cassis overlooking the Med.
Our host Michel took us for a swim over the rocks at the end of the property. Swimming in October was divine.
We then drove to Marseille and cooked up a plan to buy tickets for the game. Petites et Grandes Aventures picked up a bargain and later Nicholas and I found three more. All within ten minutes. Quite easy really.
